During the three days that Sportism’s partners were in Serbia, social gatherings and participation in events related to the project topics were also organised.
On Thursday, 23 October 2025, the partners attended the event “The Touch of Music – A Piano Concert for the Soul” during which four young but already established blind musicians enchanted the audience with their musical and vocal talents.
On Friday, 24 October 2025, a second off-conference event took place: “Something Very Special” by Dalibor Šandor and partners were spectators.
Continuing the creative process that began with the show We Are Not Monsters, Dalibor Šandor (alias Franky Sandorstein) further develops his artistic work through a performance-conference entitled Something Very Special. The work was created in collaboration with Marcel Bugiel (aka Dr. Acula) as playwright, Frosina Dimovska (aka Sylphina) as support, and Saša Asentić (aka Dark Lord) as artistic collaborator.
The performance was created as part of the DIS_Lecture project, a series of performance-lectures given by artists with intellectual disabilities, who were invited to reclaim this performative format in their own way and critically examine its ableist characteristics. Together with their long-standing collaborators, they take their place in a field from which they have historically been excluded: the discourse on dance and performance.
After the parformance there was the presentation of the interactive tactile installation “Tactile Hero” and the digital prints exhibition by Kiril Rudnik (2007) ESBS “Milan Petrović” .
